JUST IN: EFCC ARRESTED 33 FRAUDSTERS IN IMO STATE

EFCC releases identities of 33 alleged fraudsters arrested in Imo state -by  Eromosele Ebhomele 
-Nigeria's anti-graft agency, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), arrests 33 suspected fraudsters in Imo state 
-The EFCC says the suspects were caught in their hideout in Owerri by its operatives 
-The commission promises to charge the suspects to court soon as they have reportedly made useful statements The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Monday, August 26, announced the arrest of 33 suspected internet fraudsters in Imo state. The anti-graft agency also released the names of the suspects saying they were arrested at their hideout in Owerri, the capital of the state, in an early morning operation by its operatives from the Abuja and Enugu zonal offices. 
The suspects were identified as Clinton Emere, Obinna Okonkwo, Ogochukwu Ogbonna, Joseph Udom Kousin, Prince Ewunone, Franklin Michael, Tolli Ameiche, Anderson, Berthel, David Franklin, Aboi Etealu, and Chinubu Nwosu. Some of the suspects arrested in Imo state Credit: EFCC Source: UGC Others are Marizu Chidiebere, Dominic Terry Joseph, Christopher Nwosu, Peter Gift Uche, Edinalo Ifeanyichukwu , Ndubuisi Ikenna, John Frank, Anowe Precious, Joseph Levi Chima, Samuel Oria, Tochi Mmerom, Chimezia Cleansman, and Okonkwo Obinna, Killing of police officers: Presidency discloses when Buhari will take decisive action Yet, other arrested suspects include Uchendu Gift, Nkwodi Nnamdi, Izywa Munachi, Ekone Aniche, Opara Donald, Aniche Tochukwu, Anelka Okon and Ebizien Franklin Udochukwu. "The suspects have made useful statements and will be charged to court as soon as investigation is completed," the EFCC said Legit.ng earlier reported that EFCC, on Friday, August 23, said it arrested 10 suspected internet fraudsters in Sapele area of Delta state. The commission in a statement said the fraudsters were arrested at the hideout in an early morning operation by some operatives of the Benin zonal office on Wednesday, August 21.
