Pope Francis of Vatican City approves Ordination of married men as priests

A proposal that appeals that married men should also be allowed ordination as priests in the Amazon region has been approved by Pope Francis, sovereign of Vatican City.

According  to reports, the proposal must be approved by Pope Francis before it could stand.

The Amazon region includes  areas such as some parts of Peru, Suriname, Venezuela, Peru, Ecuador, Brazil, Columbia, French Guiana
